Customer Testimonials

Since 2006, more than 1500 riders have learned to ride or improved riding skills at the State 8 Rider Education Center. Here’s what a few of them have shared:

-Morgan S. (new rider)

"Just want to say how much I enjoyed the course and how beneficial it was. It's hard to believe that within 2 days you would gain so much knowledge. I have used many of the skills learned each time I ride. Without this class, I would not be able to safely and effectively operate a motorcycle. Thanks to my instructors for being such great teachers! I cannot talk highly enough about the class to those who want to learn how to ride."

-Ann A. (a relatively new rider)

"The State 8 Rider Course I took with my husband these past two days was incredible. We both learned so much more about riding a motorcycle. Neither expected riding to be so involved. Both instructors were so thorough in explaining procedures, exercises and points where practice was needed. I had a lot of fun with the course and I'm glad we decided to take it."

-Sheila C. (former passenger)

"I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the knowledge and shared experiences you gave during the classes. My two instructors made me more comfortable being able to be on the road on a motorcycle. I plan on using the tools both taught me out on the roadway. Being a brand new motorcycle rider instead of a passenger will be exciting and I am thankful for taking your course prior to hitting the road."

-Patrick C. (former dirt rider)

"It's been 2 months since taking the Basic Rider Course with State 8. Just wanted to say thanks! I learned a lot, and as you suggested, your voices echo through my mind as I'm riding along. I've ridden 2200 miles in the last 2 months and have been well prepared for all of them. I took a 750-mile trip 10 days after my class and it was really the best thing for me. I was able to spend some extended time on the bike working on all of my different skills. Who knew a cruiser could be so much different than a dirt bike? :)

What echoes through my mind the most is the statement that most accidents are a result of improper correction of a problem. I have encountered several potential catastrophes on the road already and every time, I've been able to reach back to my training and work through the situation… Thanks for all of the insights!"
