Total fee: $315, tax included

Schedule and Register

Total Control (TC) is a one-day course for experienced riders who want to learn high-performance street riding strategies. This course is the next step after taking the Advanced Rider Course (ARC) and a great preparation for riders thinking about track days. Developed by champion Lee Parks, this course combines classroom and on-cycle activities, introducing one skill at a time for the fastest way to consistent riding improvements. With growing confidence and skill, riders see specific and immediate improvements in just one day at the State 8 Rider Education Center, the first and only training site in NE Ohio certified to offer Total Control.

Cornering is the primary focus of this course. Skills include corner entry, line selection, body position and corner exit. Cornering speeds never go above 25 mph, but in a tight enough corner, 25 can feel very, very fast. Throttle control and throttle/brake transitions are covered in detail. A basic analysis of vehicular dynamics and suspension helps riders understand how body positioning and movement affects the ride. This highly acclaimed course combines physical techniques, knowledge and mental training. All riding is done on our practice range.
